Understanding these limits helps you use Polaris AI effectively.
File Limits
File Size
- Maximum file size per upload: 100 MB
- Maximum total vault storage: Depends on your plan
- Free: 1 GB
- Pro: 10 GB
- Business: 100 GB
File Types Supported
- Documents: PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, CSV, JSON
- Spreadsheets: XLSX, XLS, CSV
- Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG
- Code: JS, TS, Python, Java, C#, and more
- Presentations: PPTX, PDF
Files larger than 100 MB should be split or compressed. Some formats convert automatically (e.g., DOCX → viewable PDF).
Email Limits
Sending
- Maximum emails per day: 500 (Pro) / 100 (Free)
- Maximum recipients per email: 100
- Attachment size: 25 MB total per email
- Email address aliases: 10 maximum
Reading & Searching
- Search results: Limited to last 10,000 emails
- Fetch batch: 100 emails at a time
- API rate limit: 5 searches/minute
If you hit the daily limit, wait until tomorrow or upgrade to a higher plan.
Calendar Limits
Events
- Maximum concurrent events: 5,000 per calendar
- Event duration: Up to 1 year
- Attendees per event: 500
- Recurring event limit: 2 years forward
Scheduling
- Create/edit per minute: 10
- Maximum reminders per event: 10
- Time zones supported: All major time zones
Document Limits
Google Docs/Sheets
- Document size: Unlimited, but API may timeout on very large files
- Sheet rows: 1,000,000 per sheet
- Columns: 18,278 per sheet
- Concurrent edits: 20 simultaneous users
- File upload size: 100 MB
Forms
- Questions per form: 1,000

- Response time: Usually <30 seconds, max 2 minutes

Processing
- File processing: 1 minute timeout

- Batch operations: 10-minute timeout
Message & Conversation Limits
Chat
